Join us in Oregon this coming September 13th through 15th, 2022 for the next PUG Event!

Power User Groups (PUGs) are Training Events for Trimble Business Center Software Power Users and aspiring Power users. These events are for experienced TBC users, designed to promote your skills and knowledge to an elite working level of the software and its capabilities. We will cover advanced setup and configuration processes as well as mainstream and advanced techniques to solve real world problems in Site Data Prep, Takeoffs, and Producing Project Deliverables.

All attendees should have working knowledge of TBC prior to attending the class. For those that are at the beginning of their journey in Trimble Business Center, we offer a variety of TBC fundamentals classes via our web training programs. These are readily purchaseable at our website at RPS Training Offerings. You can use these RPS Training programs as a base, prior to PUG attendance to kick start your skills & knowledge so that you can be ready for the technical level of the event.

If you are having issues installing software or with your computer prior to the training, the RPS, SITECH and Trimble staff will be on hand to assist you.

We recommend upgrading your software prior to the event to give everyone time to resolve any issues that may arise. We cannot promise that last minute installs will work, or that we can get you going in time for the 8:00 am start on Day 1 - we will do what we can.

PUG Event Topics

Day 1 - Site Data Prep

Day 3 - Producing Project Deliverables, Including Drawings, Reports, & Outputs

Day 3 will also include a Q&A session with a Rockpile Tools Review

RPS All Tools and TBC Licenses

The training will require that you have a TBC Site Construction Edition or higher license available. In addition we will be utilizing a mix of standard Trimble Business functions mixed in with RPS All Tools toolbox commands.

Demo licenses of RPS All Tools will be provided to all attendees that do not have a license.
Demo licenses of TBC will be provided to all attendees that do not have a license or the correct license configuration to take the class.

Attendance Prerequisites

We will be using the latest version of TBC available at the time of the training for the event. All users should have the latest version installed prior to arriving in Albany, OR.

Training Data will be handed out at the start of the training event. It will also be available for download prior to the start of the event from the web.

All users should have the latest Windows updates, latest graphics card updates, latest system firmware, Bios and Drivers installed on their laptop. TBC should be installed prior to start of training. If you require our assistance with installation we prefer to do that over the web the week prior to the training, especially if your IT staff need to be involved in the installation process.

Training class will provide external screens - 1 screen between 2 people.

All attendees should have their own computer!

Social Evening

SITECH, Trimble and RPS Staff will be showcasing their latest technologies during an evening social event from 6:00 to 9:00pm on Tuesday 13th September.

The Knife River Training facility has large outdoor areas, a lake and indoor dome arena equipped with the latest technologies where you can find out more about On / Off machine technologies and the latest software offerings from the PUG Event hosts.

Food and refreshment will be provided. A shuttle bus will be available to take you back to your hotel after the event and bring you back to the training center on Wednesday morning. You can leave your personal vehicle at the Knife River facility - it is a secure site.
