Using CAD Points and Feature Codes with Attributes for Utility Takeoff

In this video I show how to convert CAD Blocks into 3D Points with Codes and Attributes that can be edited using data from the plans and then Reported to Excel for Takeoff Purposes. In this way you can capture information like

Rim Elevation
Top of Structure Elevation
Invert Elevation
Structure Sizes (Diameters, Widths, Lengths, Heights)
Pipe Types Entering the Structure
Run Number

And any other type of attribute that you may wish to record. The Attribute data can then be reported to Excel via the Point Spreadsheet Report, listing all of the attributes in separate columns that can then be used to compute e.g. Height of Structure or Volume of Structure etc.
